GORMAN I Patrick GORMAN am about thirty seven years of age Was born in that part of Great Britain Called Ireland in the county of Longford & Embarked from Dublin in May 1833 & arrived in Quebec on or about the middle of June following them came to this state where I'm a resident & now reside in Queensbury Warren County I have a wife & four children the oldest about fifteen years of age. & the youngest three Patrick GORMAN X his mark followed by loyalty oath (omitted) Signed Decr 4 1835 ____________________________________ GERATY John GERATY reports to the Clerk of the county of Washington that he is thirty years of age by profession a Joiner (?) was born in that part of Great Britain called Ireland in the County of Longford that he Embarked from ___ on the 3rd of May 1832 & arrived in Quebec on the 17th of June following and came directly to Sandy Hill in Washington County State of New York, & has resided there & is ____________ Is married & his wifes name is Mary has two children Thomas 2 years & 8 months old James 2 months on the 12th of Dec ___ that he Came to the United States with the intention of becoming a citizen thereof & residing therein Dated Decr 7th 1836 ________________ (He swears loyalty etc in bottom paragraph.) Signed with a mark SHERIDAN To the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas (?) of the County of Washington Terence SHERIDAN of the town of Kingsbury, in the county aforesaid Reports that he was born in Ireland in the County of Longford, Parish of Granard, in the Kingdom of Great Britain, that he is of the age of twenty nine years, that he embarked for the United States from Dublin, on the twenty eighth day of April 1832 and landed at Quebec in the Province of Lower Canada on the twentieth day of June following that he proceeded immediately to the state of New York and arrived at the Town of Kingsbury in the County of Washington, a State aforesaid, where he has resided ever since, and where he now resided : that he is a married man : was married in Ireland in 1827. that he has two children, one born in Ireland, and one born in Quebec in the Provinces of Lower Canada : that he is a Laborer by trade : that he never took any oath of allegiance and that he came to the United States with the intention of becoming a citizen of the United States and residing therein. Dated December 6th 1833 -- Terence Sheridan KENNEDY John KENEDY reports to the Clerk of the County of Washington that he is forty one years old by profession a farmer was born in that part of Great Britain called Ireland County Longford And sailed from Dublin on the 14th Day of April 1833 and Landed in Quebec the July following And Came directly from there to Kingsbury where he has since resided Washington County sate of New York he is married & his wife's name is Mary has six children John 21 years old next October, James Eighteen, Francis thirteen, Mary 10, Patrick 8, Jane ? about five years old, that he Came to this place or County with an intention of becoming A Citizen of the United States and of residing therein.
