HUGHES, ROSE 190?

This is a photograph of my maternal grandmother, Rose Hughes 
Mullen Bourne. Her maiden name was Rose Hughes.  She was 
born in Killoe, Longford, Ireland June 10, 1884.  Her 
parents were John Hughes and Bridget Fealey.  She emigrated 
to New York on the Lucania which arrived at Ellis Island, NY 
on Saturday morning, April 27, 1901. She went on to marry 
David Mullen and then after his death, Leslie Bourne.  She 
lived with her daughter Ellen Wolfe (Nelly) and her family 
in Westbury, Long Island, New York until her death on 
Sunday, May 9th, 1976 (Mother's Day).  She is loved and 
missed by all.
