Will: Ferrall Or Farrell, Francis January 28, 1816 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Longford Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com January 3, 2018, 3:01 am FERRALL OR FARRELL, FRANCIS JANUARY 28, 1816 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: January 28, 1816 Recorded: January 3, 2018 In the name of God Amen I Francis Ferrall of Ballintubber in the County of Longford a pensioner of the Sixth Dragoons being sick in body of sound & disposing mind memory & understanding thanks be to the Almighty for the same Do make & publish this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following Viz. first I recommend my soul unto Almighty God & Secondly I order & desire that my body may be decently interred in the Church yard Aghara at the discretion of my Exors hereinafter named Secondly I order and desire that all my just Debts & funeral Expences may be paid by my said Exors as soon as possible after my decease Whereas I am entitled to the sum of three hundred pounds sterling in Government Stock on the third day of August last at five PCent And Whereas I am entitled to the sum of three hundred pounds sterling & twenty five pounds sterling lodged in the Bank of England in the five p cent stock first I leave & bequeath unto Mary Farrell Wife of Thomas Ferrall of Newtown in the County of Longford my Niece the sum of fifty pounds sterling & to her Children One hundred & fifty pounds sterling to be equally divided between them share & share alike the same sum to remain in the Bank & not to be divided only according as they may come to Age or day of marriage & if any of the said Children shall happen to die that his she or theirs is to go & be rateably divided between the survivors Secondly I leave & bequeath unto my Brother Thomas Farrell & my Sister Mary & their Children the sum of four hundred & twenty five pounds sterling to be equally divided between them share & share alike And in case my said Brother Thomas shall happen to die before Any part of the said Legacy shall be paid or called in that then & in such case his share or proportion shall go to & be equally divided between his three Sons or the survivor of them share & share alike Thirdly I leave & bequeath unto my Sister Mary the sum of five pounds sterling forthly I leave & bequeath unto my Brother Thomas Ferrall my Mare Saddle & Bridle together with all the Debts due to me I also leave & bequeath unto my Nephew Edward Ferrall Son of Thomas my Bed & Bedding my new Boots one pair of Small Cloaths & my new body Coat I Also leave & bequeath unto my Nephew Francis Farrell Son of said Thomas my Watch & Seal And lastly I do hereby nominate & appoint William Fox of Knockagh & John Murphy of Curry in the County of Longford Esquire Executors of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking & annulling all former Will or Wills In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand & affixed my seal this twenty eighth day of January One thousand eight hundred & sixteen Fras Ferrall his mark X (Attestation Clause) Before signing I order that my Niece Mary Farrell is to receive the Interest of her part from & after my decease Patrick Dillon - Jer.
