Will: O'Ferrall, Gerald February 9, 1814 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Longford Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com August 2, 2017, 6:35 am O'FERRALL, GERALD FEBRUARY 9, 1814 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: February 9, 1814 Recorded: August 2, 2017 Extracted from the Register of His Majesty Ct of Prerogative in Ireland In the Name of the Holy undivided Trinity I Gerald Oferrell of Ballinren in the County of Longford Gentleman being in an infirm state of health but of sound & disposing mind memory & understanding do make this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following first I give & bequeath to my aunt Anne McDonald ten pounds to the poor of the parish of Ardagh five pounds to be distributed by Dean O Beirne as he shall think proper secondly to my daughter Catherine Ferrall the interest one hundred pounds to be placed out at interest for that purpose for her maintenance until of an age to be bound to a trade or business when she is to get twelve pounds of said hundred as an apprentice fee and if she shall marry with the Counsel of her parish priest twenty pounds more of said hundred as a marriage portion but not otherwise thirdly to my brother Roger O Ferrall five shillings if demanded otherwise all my other worldly Goods & Chattels & property whatsoever I give & bequeath to my father Dominick Oferrall during his natural life but not to dispose of the same in any manner further than to receive the interest thereof & issues and profits of same for his natural life aforesaid and after his decease I will & bequeath the same to my beloved nephew Gerald O Reilly & if he should happen to die before he attains the age of twenty one years then the same to be equally divided between the Children of my sister Jane O Reilly I also bequeath to said Gerald O Reilly my watch & any other trinkets I may die possessed of & I hereby nominate my relative John Oferall of Corbough & Philip O Reilly of Ess .lion Esq Guardians & also two Guineas to H gish Chapel Gerald O Ferrall Signed sealed published & declared in our presence the 9 day of February 1814 fourteen Jams Lyons _ Michl O Farrell _ Dennis O Byrne 31 July 1816 Administration with Will annexed to Dominick O Ferrell the father 10 February 1817 Administration with Will annexed to O Reilly Guardian and Father to Gerald O Reilly a Minor the Nephew and Residuary Legatee PCC Prob11/1582
