Louth – Wills: Dillon, Francis January 15, 1786 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Louth Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com April 25, 2018, 3:26 pm WILLS: DILLON, FRANCIS JANUARY 15, 1786 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: January 15, 1786 Recorded: April 25, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I Francis Dillon now of Abbey Street in the City of Dublin Marchant being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding thanks be to Almighty God for the same but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following that is to say it is my mind and desire that all my Just Debts may be paid by my Executors as soon as possible I give and bequeath unto Mary Brown my Cousin by my Wife's side the Sum of one hundred and fifty pounds I also give and bequeath unto my Nephew John Chapman the sum of one hundred pounds I give and bequeath unto Mary Dowdall of Drogheda the sum of Twenty pounds I also give and bequeath unto Mary Dowdall Daughter of the above Mary the Sum of five pounds thirteen shillings and nine pence I give and bequeath unto Peter Dillon the Sum of Twenty Pounds I give and bequeath to the Poor of Saint Mary's Parish the Sum of five pounds and that the same shall be divided by the Reverand John Kennedy in such manner as he may think proper I give and bequeath unto my Nephew George Chapman one shilling I give and bequeath unto all other relations whatsoever the Sum of one shilling each I give and bequeath unto Richard Welsh the Sum of five pounds I give and bequeath unto Andrew Cassery of Killester one hundred of Elm Trees yearly on condition that the said one hundred of Elm Trees shall be yearly Planted on said Lands of Killester for the Improvement of the same for the whole Tearm said Casery hold said Lands of Killester and I leave my dear and beloved Wife Mary Dillon sole residue of all my Property that is to say my Dwelling house in Abbey Street known by No 180 together with all its Concerns and furniture thereto belonging all my Plate China house linen and every of the Articles therein for her own use and disposal for ever also my farm at Killester held by Lease from the Right honorable Ewil (?)of Howth all the Profits that may issue therefrom during the said lease and all Other Profits arising from the remainder of my Property and I do appoint James Duncan of Finglas Bridge and Mary Dillon my Wife Executrix and James Heasalton of Abbey Street my Executors of this my said Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty fifth day of January one thousand seven hundred and Eighty six Francis Dillon (Attestation Clause) John Reynolds _ William McCollagh _ P Dillon And it is my Will and desire that Thomas Baucott Esquire of the City of Dublin and Peter Dillon of the said City of Dublin be Trustees to this my last Will 15 July 1807 Administration with Will annexed to Helen Hargrave formerly Dillon Wife of Frederick Hargrave the Administratrix of the goods of Mary Dillon Wife of Peter Dillon whilst living the residuary legatee Executors named in the Will having died without taking upon themselves execution of the Will PCC Prob11/1464
