Louth – Wills: Tracy or Treacey, Patrick August 1, 1798 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Louth Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com October 29, 2017, 12:58 pm WILLS: TRACY OR TREACEY, PATRICK AUGUST 1, 1798 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: August 1, 1798 Recorded: October 28, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Tracy Mariner on board his Majesty's Ship Aurora No 243 in Ship's Books being in Bodily Health and of sound and disposing Mind and Memory and considering the perils and dangers of the Seas and other uncertainties of this transitory Life do for avoiding controversies after my decease this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First I recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my Body I commit to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order and as for and concerning all my Worldly Estate I give bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth that is to say to my Wife Nelly Treacey and to James Tracy my Son both residing in Drogheda in this County of Louth Ireland I do give and bequeath all my Wages Sum and Sums of Money Lands Goods Chattels and Estate whatsoever equally betwixt them as shall be in any ways due owing or belonging to me at the time of my decease I give devise and bequeath the same unto my Wife Nelly Tracy and my Son James Tracy above mentioned equally between them securing as my Son is not yet come of Age I hereby appoint Mrs Hawson living upon the Quay in Drogheda to receive his share at the subject .......until he arrives at the age of twenty one years then the said Mrs Hawson to be accountable to him not for omissions but for.......
