CARBERRY V. HEALY May 14th 1859 Irish Times. (For County Meath) Court of Probate. Judge Keatinge sat in the Nisi Prius Court yesterday, for the trial of will cases. Carberry V. Healy. This was a suit instituted by the executor of Michael Healy, deceased, who had been a farmer residing in the County of Meath, to establish a certain paper writing as his will. Probate to the instrument propounded by the Plaintiff was resisted by the brother of the deceased on the grounds that it was not genuine. The property in dispute amounted to about £500, and was left to the widow of the deceased by the will alleged, which was executed on the 2nd Sept. last. The deceased died on the 25th January following. The jury found that it was the last will and testament of Michael Healy. Counsel for the Plaintiff, D. Battersby, Mr. O'Hagan and Mr Hamill. Mr. Lynch, Dr. Ball and Mr. Blackbourne for the defendant.
