ANTHONY REYNOLDS expecting in firm faith the | resurrection of the dead, accepted in piety the sleep of | death on January 8th 1835 A.D. He spent the early years | of his youth in the studies of the humanities in Carlow | Seminary and then wishing to choose the Lord as the | share of his inheritance, he went to Maynooth College. | He completed his academic course with high hons and | was then ordained priest. In his sacred ministery he | proved himself a faithful servant and worker | in the labours which he untiringly undertook on behalf | of all, and especially the poor. | Advancing so day by day in the love of God and of his | neighbor, he, together with other priests of | outstanding piety, in accordance with a common | which they had long agreed, undertook to adopt | the rule of life proposed by St. Vincent de Paul. He had | hardly however taken this decision when he was | attacked by consumption and died in a short time with | much achieved. He died at the age of 27. | May He Rest in Peace Photo No.20 [Illegible part of REYNOLDS stones, No. 16 and No. 19) Photo No.21 16294 Private | J.
