She was born in Mullenderg, County Monaghan on September 2, 1878. She emigrated first to Canada, where she married my maternal grandfather, William Doeseckle. They moved to Chicago and then to Homewood, Illinois. She died in Chicago on Feb. 1, 1935. Her father was Patrick Trainor and her mother was Margaret McCaughey.
