Will: Connolly, Edmund July 18, 1764 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Monaghan Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com September 27, 2017, 4:13 pm CONNOLLY, EDMUND JULY 18, 1764 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: July 18, 1764 Recorded: September 27, 2017 I Edmund Connolly late of Monaghan in the County of Monaghan and Kingdom of Ireland Gentleman being of sound mind memory and understanding but now indisposed and weak in Body at the House of Samuel McCabe at Cheapside London do make and publish this to be my last Will and Testament (that is to say) As to all and every my ready Money Goods Chattels Debts Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever which I now am or at the time of my death shall or may be in any wise seized possessed of interested in or Intitled unto I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof (after payment of my just Debts and funeral Expences) as follows (that is to say) I give one full sixth part thereof or of the Amount Value or Produce thereof unto my Neice Mary Conolly and to her Executors and Administrators to and for her and their own proper use and benefit to be paid by my Executors hereinafter named as the same can from time to time be received and ascertained Also I give unto my Nephew or reputed Nephew John Conolly one tenth part of the remaining five parts of my Estate and Effects and to his Executors and Administrators to be paid to him or them as the same shall be able to be ascertained And the remaining nine parts of the last mentioned five parts of my Estate and Effects I give and bequeath the same unto and to the use of my Mother Mary Conolly and of my brother Con and sister Helen and to their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns equally to be divided between the respectively share and share alike And Lastly I do hereby make nominate and appoint my friends Roger McMahon of Rosemary Lane Taylor and Samuel McCabe and Edward McGurk of Cheapside London Victuallers joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament and do revoke all former and other Wills of this my last Will and Testament and do revoke all former and other Wills and Declare this only to be and contain my true last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Eighteenth day of July 1764 Edmd Conolly (Attestation Clause) Wm Watts _ James Fitz Gerald Proved at London 7 September 1764 PCC Prob11/901
