In the Name of God Amen I Jane McMurray of the Town of 
Clones in the County of Monaghan the Wife or Widow of Andrew 
McMurray formerly of Clones aforesaid who if living is now 
resident abroad but concerning whom no account or 
information has been obtained for several years past do make 
and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking 
all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made Whereas 
my late Brother John Cochran of Vansittart Terrace Greenwich 
in the County of Kent Surgeon previous to his death duly 
made and published his last Will and Testament in writing 
bearing date the twenty ninth day of September one thousand 
eight hundred and thirty and also a Codicil thereto bearing 
date the first of December one thousand eight hundred and 
thirty two which said will and Codicil were on or about the 
tenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and thirty 
four duly proved in Doctors Commons in England and probate 
thereof granted to the Executors therein named And whereas 
my said late Brother did by his said Will bequeath unto me 
free from the control of my said Husband the interest 
dividends rents issues and annual proceeds of certain funds 
and property therein mentioned for the term of my natural 
life And did also by this his said Will authorise and 
empower me whether covert or sole out of the residue of his 
Estate therein mentioned to give and bequeath the sum of one 
thousand pounds Bank Three pounds per centum Consolidated 
Annuities to such person or persons and in such manner as I 
should by  my last Will and Testament to be by me signed and 
published in the presence of two or more credible witnesses 
direct or appoint provided such person should not be my said 
Husband Now therefore in pursuance And execution of the said 
power so given to me as aforesaid I do hereby give bequeath 
and Appoint the said sum of one thousand pounds Bank Three 
pounds per centum Consolidated Annuities to my friend John 
Brady of the Town of Clones the Husband of my Step Daughter 
Isabella Brady And I do direct that the said sum of one 
thousand pounds Bank Three pounds per centum Consolidated 
Annuities shall in pursuance of the said Will of my said 
Brother be paid assigned or transferred to the said John 
Brady accordingly I order and direct that my funeral 
expences and just debts shall be paid by my Executors 
hereinafter named out of whatever property I may die 
possessed of as soon as can conveniently be done after my 
decease And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of 
whatever property I may have at the time of my decease be 
seized or possessed of or entitled unto at the time of my 
decease I give devise and bequeath the same and all my 
estate unto my said Stepdaughter Isabella Brady her heirs 
executors administrators and assigns I nominate constitute 
and appoint my friend William Cochrane of Dromard Gentleman 
and the said John Brady Executors of this my Will In Witness 
whereof I have hereunto signed my name this twentieth day of 
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred 
and forty five Jane McMurray

limited to Personal Estate she had a right to dispose of by 
virtue of the Will of John Cochran and for no further or 
otherwise power reserved to other Executor
