LOT NO 42: The lands of RATHGOONANE, containing 1529a 0r 21p, statute measure, situate in the Barony of Tyreragh, Co Sligo, held in Fee.

  1    The Rev Wm Grove      27-13-10       163-2- 5    Lease dated 1st May 1799, made by GEORGE JONES to Rev. Wm Grove, of
                                                        the entire of this townland, for lives of said Lessee, Helen and
                                                        Dorothy Grove and the survivor, or 31 years,at the rent of £30 late
                                                        currency, equivalent to £27-13s-10d sterling. This lease includes the
                                                        entire townland of Rathgoonane.
                                                        OBSERVATION: The Rev Wm Grove, now aged upwards of 80 years, is the
                                                        surviving life; and by Indenture bearing date the 1st day of December
                                                        1841, the said William Grove demised the lands in the occupation of
                                                        the tenants to the owner, at the rent of £40 10s a year, payable
                                                        May and Nov, during the life of William Grove.

  2    Michael Dolphin        5- 0- 0        28-2-31    For 7 years, determinable with sale, subject to the tenants
                                                        emblements,if any,and such right of entry as is incident thereto.
                                                        OBSERVATION: The interest in this sub-lease, which includes all
                                                        these lands, save that portion in the possession of Mr Grove,
                                                        will be sold with this lot.

  3    John Conway            2- 0- 0        10-2-10    29th September, from year to year.
                                                        OBSERVATION: The landlord's part of both leases are not forthcoming
                                                        but certified copies of them will be handed to the purchaser.

                                                        emblements,if any,and such right of entry as is incident thereto.
