O'HARA, MARY  JANUARY 12, 1831

Extracted from her Majesty's Court of Prerogative in Ireland 
December 28th 1830 The following is the manner in which I 
should wish to dispose of my property should it please the 
Almighty to call me out of this world before I could make a 
regular formal Will To my beloved brother Charles King 
O'Hara I leave £4000 of the money now in his hands but 
should he die without marrying and leaving a family £2000 of 
that money I leave at his death to be vested in the hands of 
trustees for my sister Jane Frances Cooper's use for her 
life and at her death to be equally divided amongst her 
surviving children I leave to my sister Jane Frances Cooper 
the sum of £1000 to be vested in the hands of trustees the 
interest to be paid into her own hands and at her death to 
be equally divided amongst her surviving children I leave to 
my nephew Wm John Digby £500 as a token of my affection for 
him To Arthur Brooke Cooper Senr. And Frederick Eyre Trench 
I leave £20 each I beg they will purchase some trifle 
therewith in remembrance of me To my brother Charles K 
O'Hara I leave my few books To my God daughter Jane Hen. 
Cooper I leave the gold chain and bracelets give me by Mr 
E.S. Cooper and I hope she will preserve them for his sake 
and mine To my brother Charles K O'Hara I leave my pearls 
having had them reset with the hope of presenting them to 
his wife To my sister Jane F Cooper I leave all my clothes 
trinkets and toys to be as she may think fit among my 
nephews and nieces and I should like a trifle of some of 
them were given to those four kind friends she thinks would 
value them for my sake If I die in the county of Sligo I 
wish to be buried by my father and mother as privately as 
possible and should a Tomb stone not have been already 
placed over their graves I bequeath £50 for that purpose My 
dear brother Charles K O'Hara will I hope see the above 
carried into effect as I leave him and my sister Cooper

November 1846
