Garrett CONNOLLY, trustee of the Roman Catholic chapel	Lease dated 20th Dec. 1786, from Henry BRISCOE to John GALWAY, Walter WOULF, Laurence SMITH, James SAUSE, Joseph HEARN, & James HAYES, for the term of 999 years from the 29th of Sept. 1786, at the yearly rent of £9 7s late currency, until the 29th Sept. 1790, and thereafter at the yearly rent of £6 7s 6d, late currency. Reservation to Patrick DUNPHY, of Carrick-on-Suir, carpenter, his executors, administrators _ asigns, of the new gallery of the chapel that had been then lately built on said premises until the termination of his interests therein, with a covenant that thereafter the said gallery should become part and parcel of said premises, and be subject to the reserved rent. Note, the interest under which John DUNPHY holds premises in Chapel lane. The premises are described in this lease as the chapel and chapel yard of Carrick-on-Suir, as same were formerly held by Nicholas WOULFE, Mathew WOULFE, and John GALWAY, and as then held by the lessees.

Garrett CONNOLLY, trustee of the Roman Catholic Poor house	Lease dated 19 September, 1766, from John BRISCOE to John BARDSHAW (?), for the term of three lives, renewable for ever, on payment of a pepper corn fine, if demanded, and the nomination of a new life within six months after the fall of each life, at the yearly rent of £5 late currency. The cestui que vies therein named are all long since dead, and there has been no renewal. The premises are described as a plot or piece of ground, containing in front 27 feet, and in depth 135 feet, be the same more or less, leading backwards to the bounds of Mr. SHAW'S concerns, with the two slated houses built thereon, and inhabited by superannuated old men and women, adjoining the chapel of Carrick-on-Suir, and bounded as therein.

20	Dwelling house & Store	Mary CAREW	Lease dated 31st Jan, 1840, from Henry Whitby BRISCOE, the owner, to Mary CAREW, for the term of 37 years, to be computed from 29th Sept. 1839. The premises are described as the dwelling house and store then lately built by said Mary Carew, situated in Chapel lane and bounded as therein. A good interest, worth £10 per annum.

29	House	Mrs. Eliza BRANIGAN	Lease dated 7th March, 1787, from Henry BRISCOE to Robert BAKER, for the term of 3 lives renewable for ever, on payment of a pepper corn fine, if demanded, at the yearly rent of £4 8s 1d late currency. Thos. BAKER, John BRISCOE and Robert BRISCOE, the cestui que vies therein named, are long since dead, and there has been no renewal. The premises are therein described as two small fields on the side of the road leading from Carrick-on-Suir to Cregg bridge, and a small slated house or cabin in Chapel lane, bounded as therein.
30	Houses	John DUNPHY	Lease dated 22nd Sept. 1787, from Henry BRISCOE to Patt DUNPHY, for the term of 999 years from 25th March, 1788, at the yearly rent of £28 10s late currency, from and after the first eleven years; said lease contains a reservation by said Henry BRISCOE, his heirs and assigns, of the new gallery of the Chapel of Carrick on Suir, and the passage that was then open to Timothy FLANAGAN'S concerns. These premises, with No. 21 Knockenconnery, page 36 of this Rental, are held under the same lease, at the gross yearly rent of £21 3s 10½d and the rent has been apportioned under an order dated 6th Nov. 1855 : they are described as 7 or 8 thatched cabins, with the back yards thereto belonging, situated without the town wall, and a small field situate on Cregg road, bounded as therein.
