5-OCT-1841 - LOYAL NATIONAL REPEAL ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND.
  
The usual weekly meeting of this body was held yesterday, at 
the Corn Exchange, and was numerously and respectably 
attended. Mr. O'Connell arrived precisely at 1 o'clock, from 
Maryborough, where he slept on Sunday night, on his way from 
Castlehill, in the County of Tipperary, where a great 
meeting was held on Sunday.

Mr. Thomas Reynolds here entered the meeting, and was 
received with loud cheers, which continued for several 
minutes. He handed in a sum of £591 which he had the honour 
of being entrusted with for the purpose, from the towns of 
Birr, Thurles, Roscrea, and Banagher.

Mr. Ray then read the following list of contributors from 
Roscrea to the repeal rent:-
