HELD BY GEORGE BRADSHAW. 9th Jan . William Russell, Clonbeg, Barony of Clanwilliam, Died of injuries inflicted on his head, on Monday the 7th inst, and for want of evidence cannot say whether those injuries were inflicted by his two brothers, Christopher and Patrick Russell, or not, or by persons yet unknown, he died of those injuries on Tuesday the 8th inst. 14th Jan. James Creed, Cashel, Barony of Middlethird. Died from having fallen off his horse and from inclemency of weather. 28th Jan, Honora Dwyer, Golden, Barony of Clanwilliam. Hanged herself on the 27th inst, when labouring under temporary derangement. 15th Feb. Patrick Stapleton, Rathling, Barony of Clanwilliam. Died when returning from a wedding, having fallen off a horse, being in liquor. 23rd Feb. Michael Ryan, Clonoulty, Barony of Kilenemanah. Found drowned in a boghole on the 22nd inst, (not ascertained whether he had accidentally fallen in or not, for want of evidence,) yet it is a suspicious case. Feb. 25th, Thomas Gorman, Templenoe, Barony of Clanwilliam. Died from having drunk too freely, which brought on a fit, and caused his death. April 10th. James Shanahan, Tipperary, Barony of Clanwilliam. Died from the blow of a stone or some blunt instrument, on the 8th inst. by some person or persons unknown. A child of 8 months old. April 13th. Daniel Neill, Toeme, Barony of Kilenemanah. Died of injuries he received on the head, inflicted by Denis Ryan and Matthew Ryan, and Cornelius Cuaghall, of Cappagh, on the 12th inst. which caused death the same night of the 12th inst. April 15th. A Male child. Tipperary, Barony of Clanwilliam. Found in a sand pit, and supposed not to have been born alive. 14th May. Sarah Pennefather, Cappagh, Barony of Kilenemanah. Died from a fit, a complaint she was subject to, on the 12th inst. 28th May. Mutilated parts of a child. Tipperary, Barony of Clanwilliam. Found in a field, at the rear of Tipperary Barracks, and supposed to have been born alive, and was deserted by its unnatural mother. 30th May. Thomas Taylor. Cashel, Barony of Middlethird. Shot himself when labouring under temporary insanity. (A soldier of the 4th Dragoon Guards.) 20th July. A male child. Donohill, Barony of Clanwilliam. Found in a bog hole on the 16th inst. and supposed to have been born alive. 27th July. Mary Kavanagh, Bansha, Barony of Clanwilliam. Drowned accidentally when bathing, supposed to have got a cramp or fit. 31st. July. Anstice Fitzgerald. Anacarthy, Barony of Kilenemanah. Died from injuries inflicted on her by James and Thomas Ryan, and their servant boy James English, on Monday night the 19th inst, aided and assisted by several others yet not known. 12th Aug. Thomas Egan, Tipperary. Barony of Clanwilliam. Died from some inward complaint of the stomach, which he had long laboured under. 1st Sept. Female Child, Kilshane, Barony of Clanwilliam. Born alive, and supposed, if its mother, Jude Kenny, had called for assistance when in labour, its life would have been saved. 15th Oct. John Burke, Cullen. Barony of Clanwilliam. Died of apoplexy, but for want of evidence cannot say if apoplexy was brought on by an injury or by a stroke which he received on the night of the 14th, or not. 7th Dec. Michael Lahy, Solihidmore, Barony of Clanwilliam. Died from inflammation caused by a fall when in Liquor, and exposure to cold of night. 11th Dec. Martin Ryan, Kilpatrick, Barony of Kilenemanah. Found dead at a stream of water at Mahurah?, in the Parish of Donohill, for want of evidence cannot say the cause of his being found there (not being in the way to his home), no marks of violence on the body. 12th Dec. Richard Fleming, Cullen, Barony of Clanwilliam. Died of injuries he received on the 9th inst. inflicted by Thomas Neill and William and Thomas Ryan, and he died of those injuries on the 12th. 14th Dec. Edward Coleman, Tipperary, Barony of Clanwilliam. Accidentally killed, he being a slater, having fallen of a ladder on the 13th inst. 15th Dec. Richard Sadleir, Clonoulty, Barony of Kilenemanah. Died of injuries he received on the head on Wed. 4th Dec, of which he died on Sat. 14th inst. Those injuries were inflicted by persons unknown. 20th Dec. John Loghnane, Knockavella, Barony of Kilenemanah. Died by the visitation of God. 25th Dec. Thomas Collins, Clonbeg. Barony of Clanwilliam. Accidentally killed by a horse having ran away and knocked him down, and caused such injuries on the 19th inst, as caused his death on the 24th inst. From originals held at Tipperary Library.
