Will: Ahern, Michael November 19, 1803 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Tipperary Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com July 8, 2017, 3:43 am AHERN, MICHAEL NOVEMBER 19, 1803 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: November 19, 1803 Recorded: July 7, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Michael Ahern of the City of Cashel in the County of Tipperary Gent being sick in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following (to wit) I order and desire that all my just Debts be paid by the Executrix of this my Will and in respect of my worldly substance afterwards remaining I dispose of the same as follows I have given and bequeathed unto my beloved wife Dorothy Ahern the house I now live in with the appurts thereunto belonging situate in this city to hold to her during her natural life and also give and bequeath unto her all my Goods and chattels of what kindsoever Money Bonds Notes Accounts of Debts due to me and all Bequests made unto me by James Lahy Paymaster of the 19th Regt now deceased excepting a Bill of Exchange for £50 English Money payable at three days sight drawn by the said James Lahy favour of me or order dated at I........ 19 February 1802 on Messrs Cox Underwood and Cox London which Bill of Exchange I order to be given to Patrick Murphy at Ballymore in said County farmer in consideration of what I owe him and excepting also what Interest there might be in my said House and concerns after my said wife's Lease which I devise to Patrick Murphy Son of the said Patrick Murphy lastly I Nominate Constitute and Appoint Stephen Murphy of Ballymore aforesaid and my said Wife Dorothy Ahern Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other will and wills heretofore by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seal this 19th day of November 1803 Michl Ahern Signed Sealed published and declared in the presence of us Patrick Molony _ Danl Morressy _ Thos Lanigan Proved at London 29 January 1814 to Dorothy Ahern Widow power reserved to Stephen Murphy the other Executor PCC Prob11/1551
