BRENNAN, JAMES FEBRUARY 28, 1839

In the name of God Amen I James Brennan being weak in body 
but of sound disposing mind do make this my last Will and 
Testament I leave to my Sister Mary ten pounds I leave to my 
Niece Mary five pounds I leave to my Brother John ten pounds 
and my clothes I leave to my Cousin Thomas Brennan five 
pounds I leave to Nancey Brennan two pounds ten shillings I 
leave to the poor two pounds I leave for Masses two pounds I 
leave to Catherine Brien ten pounds there is due to me from 
the Spanish Government one hundred and seventy pounds out of 
which one hundred and seventy pounds when received by me or 
by my Executor these legacies are to be paid the residue one 
hundred and eighteen pounds ten shillings I leave and 
bequeath to Frances Lonergan all necessary expences to be 
first paid & should the whole sum one hundred and seventy 
pounds be not received by my Executor then these several 
legacies to be paid proportionally to the sum received I 
appoint Thomas Lonergan my sole Executor James Brennan X his 
mark February 28th 1839 nine Thos Lonergan Thomas Brennan

Cashel in Ireland Serjeant and Master Tailor in the British
