IRELAND Source: National Archives London Written: March 18, 1771 Recorded: February 1, 2020 In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Wensley of Sandvill in the Parish of Donoghkiddy and County of Tyrone Gentleman being weak in body but sound in mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills heretofore made by me First I order my Corpse to be decently interred in a private manner in my Father's Burial place in the Church yard of Grange in the said Parish I order all my just Debts and Funeral Expences to be paid I give and bequeath unto my Sister Bond One hundred Pounds To my Sister Letitia Wensley one hundred pounds To my Sister Cowan One hundred Pounds To my Sister Cary One hundred Pounds to be by her divided amongst her Children by her former Husband as she thinks proper and to the four Children of my late Sister Hall One hundred Pounds that is to say twenty five Pounds to each of them I give and bequeath to my Nephew William Chambers the farm of Sandville with the Bleach Yard and Bleaching Utensils reserving Nevertheless the Upper floor that is all the rooms Closets and Lobby etc. above Stairs in the Dwelling House two Cows grazed and foddered every Year during my Lease and Turf sufficient for her Use brought home and stack'd at the house to my Sister Letitia Wensley I leave and bequeath to Mr John Sproule Apothecary in Strabane the Sum of Fifty Pounds To my Nephew William Chambers fifty Pounds and to my Nephew Thomas Chambers One hundred Pounds Sterling the Remainder and Residue of my Effects I give and bequeath to my four Children Vizt. Jane John Margaret and James Wensley share and share alike I order all my Crop Household Furniture Horses Cows and Sheep to be sold by Public Auction and the amount applied for the Uses and Purposes before mentioned I order a Stone to be erected in the Wall of the Burial Place to shew it belongs to my Father's family I do hereby appoint the before mentioned John Sproule Wm Chambers and Thomas Chambers Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby Will and direct that my said Executors shall not be answerable for any Accidental Losses nor the one for the other but each for their own Acts and Deeds only and that it shall and may be lawful for them to retain and pay themselves all Costs and Charges with which the necessary Execution of this my Will may be attended In Witness whereof I have to this my Will set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & seventy one Thos Wensley (Attestation Clause) Jos Morton _ Charles Mackay _ John Edams Proved at London 29 January 1776 by Oath of William Chamber power reserved to other Executors PCC Prob11/1015
