There is no reason given for this break in the burial records. It is not apparent whether burials stopped altogether for this period but the original records at Christ Church Cathedral do not seem damaged or tampered with. Although the large amount of burials which took place in the previous years in such a small area of land may have some baring on this. This record will resume as they are in the original record. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ 1850 DATE NAME & AGE ADDRESS & RELIGION Oct. 25 John Blake (75) Parliament Street Nov. 5 Emma Lousia Walshe (17 mts.)
