Waterford - Doyle, Eleanor Or Ellen January 12, 1802 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Waterford Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com September 24, 2017, 9:27 am DOYLE, ELEANOR OR ELLEN JANUARY 12, 1802 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: January 12, 1802 Recorded: September 24, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Eleanor Doyle of Waterford Widow being of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following I leave and bequeath to my Son Lieutenant Colonel William Doyle now Quartered at Quebec all that I die possessed of either in Bonds Debentures or money except fifty Pounds which I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Ellen Dennis who I have at Marriage given more than she was entitled to under her father's Will having already given my Daughter Eliza Tydd more than she was entitled to under her father's Will I Cannot leave her any money but I leave and bequeath her my furniture House Linen and Plate except one Dozen of my large Silver Spoons and Silver Soop Ladle which belongs to my Son William to whom I bequeath his father's Watch and my Diamond hoop Ring and the Chest of Books And my Will is that in Case my Son William does not Survive me and leaves no Child that then my property shall then be equally divided between my Daughter Denis and my Daughter Tydd I leave to Mr Sam Roberts Ten Guineas as a Token of Gratitude for his friendship to me I desire that all my just debts may be paid and that I may be buried early in the morning as private as possible And I do appoint my Son Lieutenant Colonel William Doyle my Sole Executor and residuary Legatee As Witness my hand this twelfth day of January One thousand Eight hundred and two Ellen Doyle (Appearance by Benjamin Roberts of Waterford Gentleman as to manner and character of handwriting of the deceased 3 August 1803) 12 August 1803 Administration with Will annexed to Elizabeth Tydd otherwise Doyle Wife of Francis Tydd the Executor having renounced Further grant 9 February 1805 to Richard Henry Cox lawful Attorney to William Doyle the Son now residing at the City of Waterford PCC Prob11/1420
