Mullingar, April 3rd. On Saturday last, James M'Loughlin was executed at the front of the gaol in this town, pursuant to his sentence at the last Assizes, for a burglary and felony in the house of James Banon, near Ballymore in this County,-previous to his being cast off the awful platform, he declared himself perfectly innocent, being neither directly of indirectly concerned in the robbery for which he was convicted; this declaration excited the universal sympathy of a vast concourse of people who assembled on the occasion. After hanging the usual time his body was given to his friends for interment.
