The minute’s of the last day’s proceedings were read and confirmed. State of the House. 570 remaining from previous week. 60 admitted during the week. 51 discharged during the week. 6 born during the week. 3 Died. 143 in the Infirmary. 25 in Fever Hospital. 24 in the Lunatic Ward. An increase of 36 from the preceding week. The Rev. Francis M. MARSHALL attended for the performance of religious duties on Sunday, 10th Feb. 1867, and administered the last sacraments to a patient in the hospital. The Rev. James PEED performed Divine Service on the 10th Feb. The Rev. Somerset B. BURTCHAEL read and catechised on the 15th. Master’s Report. An adult inmate named Edward BYRNE absconded on Monday evening by scaling the walls. He has not yet returned. The conduct of the inmate Sarah CONNICK, on Thursday, was such that I got a warrant and had her removed from the workhouse. The Master in reply to the guardian, said that the three boys who absconded on Sunday the 10th had not yet been heard of.
