Will: Aherne Or A Herne, William July 26, 1802 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Wexford Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com June 10, 2018, 2:26 pm AHERNE OR A HERNE, WILLIAM JULY 26, 1802 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: July 26, 1802 Recorded: June 10, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I William A Herne of Tinken Butcher in the County of Wexford being weakly in body but of perfect sound mind and memory thanks be to God for it considering the uncertainty of this mortal life doth to avoid strife after my decease make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my body to be buried after a decent Christian Burial according to the Will of Executors and for such worldly substance as it hath pleased God to bestow on me I give and bequeath in the following manner To my brother Joseph A Herne I leave and bequeath the Sum of Money left to me by my Son Peter A Herne that belonged to His Majesty's Ship St Joseph And if that Money comes to the hands of my Brother Joseph A Herne he must pay my Daughter Mary A Herne the Sum of Twenty Shillings a year as long as said Money lasts to my daughter Bell A Herne I leave one shilling to my Brother Thoms A Herne I leave one shilling to my Sister Anne Summers A Herne I leave one shilling to my Sister Elinor Robinson A Herne I leave one shilling to my beloved Mother I leave the Price of a pair of shews I do appoint my Brother Joseph A Herne my Executor of this my last Will and Testament given under my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of July One thousand Eight hundred and two William AHerne X his mark Witness present Richard Cruise Edward Bassett Christr Bassett Proved at London 22 March 1803 PCC Prob11/1387
