I Dennis Murphy Doe bequeath all that I have in the world to my daughter 
Katherine Murphy in the Towne of Wexford in the Kingdome of Ireland 
obleidging my said Daughter to give my Mother Katherine Murphy alias Doran 
the Sume of Twenty Pounds Sterling and to my eldest Sister Mary Lane five 
Pounds To my Sister Margaret Roach five Pounds To my Sister Winnefrith 
Welsh five Pounds and to my Sister Mary Synod five Pounds And I allow 
twenty Pounds for my funeral Charges

Which day appeared personally Peter Stafford of the Parish of St Paul 
Shadwell gent aged about fifty yeares William Roach of the Parish of St 
Dunstan Stepney Victualler aged fifty two yeares and John Ackland of the 
Parish of Saint Catherines near the Tower of London aged fifty yeares …….. 
this Deponent Peter Staford that he was well acquainted with Dennis Murphy 
late of Wexford in the Kingdome of Ireland and Master of her Ma'ties Ship 
Assurance but in the Parish of Saint Katherine's aforesaid deceased about 
fifteen or Sixteen yeares And saith that in the evening of the fifteenth 
day of January last past ….this Deponent went to him to his Lodgeing in the 
House of one        Saunders in Queen's Court in Saint Katherine's aforesaid 
who was then ill and lying in his Bed …. He dyed about three of the Clock 
the next morning….
