Photo No.1 The Church The present church at Kilquade was built in 1802 to replace the previous church which was burnt down in 1798. There was a Catholic community in this area for many years prior to this. According to the parish website there are two chalices still in use which bear the inscriptions "Anno Domini 1633" and "24th November 1759".
