Description Lease (19 March 1714) made between Francis Harrison, city of Dublin, esquire, and David Ryan, Harroldstown (Haroldstown), county Carlow, gentleman, in respect of part of the lands of Tombay, (Tombeagh) barony of Rathvilly, county Carlow, containing 436 acres plantation measure. Lease to run for lives renewable forever at annual rent of £60 sterling. Noted on verso that this deed was registered at the Register Office, city of Dublin, on 21 July 1715 in book 14, page 464, number 6600. Also on verso of deed is a memorandum which states that on 23 December 1736 a copy of the deed was taken by trustees appointed by an act of parliament for relief of creditors of the bank lately kept by Samuel Burton and Daniel Falkiner, and of bank lately kept by Benjamin Burton, Samuel Burton and Daniel Falkiner, and of the creditors of the bank lately kept by Benjamin Burton and Francis Harrison. Attached is deed of renewal (7 March 1727) made between Benjamin Burton, Burton Hall, county Carlow, esquire, assignee of Harrison, of one part, and David Ryan, Senior, aforesaid, of the other part. Renewal agreed on the death of one of the named lives.

Formerly held by Widow Mary [Howse]. Also, parcel of ground whereon are sundry cabins and gardens mearing from the middle of the pond to Widow [Howe']s barn plot. Lease to run for three named lives with covenant for perpetual renewal. Annual rent of £45 sterling.

Lease to run for three named lives. Annual rent set at £5.6.0 for the first five years and £5.10.6 thereafter. On verso is memorial (4 August 1719) that Revell has agreed to pay to Houghney [sum of £12 as [Sallarayn] did to Benjamin Burton.

Lease to run for one year. Rent of one peppercorn if demanded. This lease is related to a deed of settlement intended to be executed the next day.

Description Lease made between Roger Haughney, Carlow, county Carlow, cordwainer, and Nicholas Henigan, in respect of a house and garden. Bounded on the east by part of Jonathan Wattson's field, on the west by Chapel lane, on the north by Rowland McGowan's garden and on the south by Joseph Revel's quarry and garden. Lease to run for term of 31 years. Annual rent set at £2 sterling for the first 21 years of the lease and £2.6.0 thereafter. One of the terms of the lease is that Henigan is not to dig a quarry at the premises unless he intends to build. If he does quarry, he is not to dispose of stones for the use of others upon pain of penalty of £10. Endorsement on lease (15 March 1737/1738) by Thomas Haughney, eldest son and heir apparent of the lessor, in which he nullifies the conditions relating to quarrying at the premises.

Recites lease dated 6 December 1812 made between Henry, 8th Earl of Thomond, and Thomas Cooper, in respect of two tenements and plots of ground at Graige and Queen's county commonly called Bumbruck plot and containing 1½ acres. To be held by Cooper forever at annual rent of £2.5.0. Thomas Cooper and Folio now make over Cooper's interest in this property to William Cooper. Also present is receipt (4 August 1720) issued by Folio acknowledging receipt of sum of £77.10.0 from William Cooper in consideration of Folio's interest.

Description Lease made between Henry Whitestone, Catherlogh (Carlow), county Carlow, gentleman, and Laughlin Roney, of same place, merchant, in respect of a house and garden in Carlow lately occupied by William Owens. Bounded on the east both by a plot belonging to William Burby and field belonging to Jonathan Watson, on the south by Nicholas Henegan's garden, on the west by the malt house and another tenement belonging to the lessee and on the north by the street or high road leading to Dublin. Plot contains about 62 feet in the front. Lease to run for term of 31 years. Annual rent set at £2 sterling for the first year of the term and £3 thereafter. Noted that a memorial of the deed was entered at the Register Office, city of Dublin, on 11 April 1722 in book 34, page 43, number [20396].

Accompanied by note (22 April 1859) by Joseph Wellwood which states that 'This lease is supposed to have been surrendered evicted or allowed to expire, and the portion thereof in Chapel Lane afterwards leased to Mr Nassau Greene and the portion in Dublin Street demised to Edward Jackson now held by Johnny Curran as sub tenant to Mr Brady of Myshall.'

It is noted that this deed was registered at the Register Office, city of Dublin, on 16 April 1726 in book 48, page 233, number 31464.
