The following details have been transcribed from the "Finn's Linster Journal" newspaper,  which can be found on micro film at County Carlow Library, Tullow Street, Carlow, Co Carlow IRELAND


Kilkenny, 17 March
Married. On Thursday last, Henry Flood of Viewmount, Esq;7 to Miss Perkins,8 daughter of John Perkins, of Ballintrain, in the county of Carlow, Esq; 9 a most amiable young lady, with a fortune of £2,000.

Died. A few days ago in London of a tedious illness, Joseph Fitzpatrick, Esq; M.D. a gentleman of great eminence in his profession, and possessed of a considerable property in this kingdom. By his death his real estate in the Queen's-county, and the county of Carlow, devolves to Timothy Fitzpatrick, Esq; 326 of Ballybooden, in the Queen's county, and his personal fortune, which is considerable, to William Fitzpatrick, Esq; an officer in America.
