James Young, Maryborough (Portlaoise) gaol, Queen's county
(Laois), governor of the gaol, of the other part. Recites
lease dated 23 February 1738 (described as document number
P1/0072). Interest in the 1744 lease is now vested in Sir
Charles and Young, and Sir Charles grants lands to Young on
the basis of a fee farm grant. Subject to annual fee farm
rent of £3.10.0 sterling. It is noted that the deed was
registered at the Registry Office, city of Dublin, on 2 May
1860 in book 14, number 20.

and John Beauchamp Brady, Myshall lodge, county Carlow, of
the other part. Recites lease dated 29 September 1759 made
between Robert Burton, Harristown, county Kildare, esquire,
and Edward Jackson, Carlow, county Carlow, for specified
premises. Lease to run for three named lives with covenant
for perpetual renewal at annual rent of £4 then currency of
Ireland. The interest in the 1759 lease is now vested in the
parties to the current indenture and Sir Charles demises
premises to Brady as a fee farm grant. Annual sum of £4.1.6
to be paid by Brady to Sir Charles. Premises is described as
tenement and plot of ground formerly held by Thomas
Creathorne at Dublin street, Carlow, county Carlow. It is
noted that this deed was registered at the Register Office,
city of Dublin, on 2 May 1860 in book 14, number 18.

square, [Dublin], solicitor, having carriage of proceedings
of the lease of Burrin land, Carlow, county Carlow, and its
conversion into a fee farm grant, in the matter of the
estate of Reverend John James and Thomas James, owners and
petitioners. Recites details of lease dated 13 July 1717
made between Benjamin Burton and James Michel (renewal of
this lease is described in entry for document number
P1/0386). Document states that Sir Charles William Cuffe
Burton is entitled to an estate in fee simple of the lands
and schedule lists the particulars of rents and fines owing
to him, and the terms on which it is proposed that the
original lease is converted into a fee farm grant.

Member of Parliament. Recites details of lease dated 28 May

Webb, vintner, in respect of several tenements and gardens
on the east side of Chapel lane (formerly Mass lane),
Carlow, county Carlow. Lease to run for three lives with
covenant for perpetual renewal at annual rent of £11.
Davison's interest is now vested in Michael Finn, a lunatic,
and Webb's interest is vested in Bruen. Recites that Bruen
has been paying rent to the receiver. Lives named in lease
are deceased. Gives notice to Bruen that he is to seek a fee
farm grant under the Renewable Leasehold Conversion Act or
his right to same will be forfeited.

Draft release made between Sir Charles William Cuffe Burton,
Pollerton, county Carlow, of the first part, Evory
Carmichael, 5 Longford terrace, Monkstown, county Dublin, of
the second part, and the Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway
Company, of the third part. Recites details of indenture
dated 10 May 1756 (described as document number P1/0414).
Recites that the interests of the parties named in the 1756
indenture are now vested in the parties of the first and
second parts to this indenture. Recites that the 1756 lease
was converted into a fee farm grant on 5 April 1851 and made
between Sir Charles and Carmichael. Annual fee farm rent was
calculated as £34.14.3. Also recites that the Dublin and
Bray Railway Company was empowered to purchase and take
pieces of land that it requires. Some of the lands involved
in the 1756 lease were conveyed by Carmichael to the
Company. The Company's lands are now vested in the Dublin,
Wicklow and Wexford Railway Company. Sir Charles now agrees
to release these portions of the lands from the fee farm
rent agreed in the 1851 fee farm grant. The Company's
portion of the lands is 3 roods plantation measure. It is
also agreed that Carmichael will remain liable for the full
fee farm rent of £34.14.3.
