lane leading from Graige to Killeshin on the south; with the

without Dublin gate in the town of Carlow. Adjoins the town
wall and commonly called Widow Gray's plot. Also, two small

Description
Assignment made between Nicholas, 5th Viscount Nettirvill
(Netterville) of Dowth, of the first part, Charles Burton,
city of Dublin, of the second part, and Benjamin Burton,
Burton hall, county Catherlogh (Carlow), esquire, of the
third part. Recites that Viscount Nettirvill is entitled to
the sum of £8,000 as the portion of Catherine, Viscountess
Nettirvill, sister of Burton, and chargeable on Benjamin
Burton's estates. At Viscount Nettervill's request, Charles
Burton gives him the interest on the principal sum of
£8,000. This is the answer 'the present pressing occasions
of his Lordship.' Therefore, in consideration of receipt of
the sum of £2,236.14.5 sterling, Viscount Nettirvill assigns
to Charles Burton the principal sum of £8,000 and all
interest that grows due on it from 18 January next.

Kildare, and others, appellants, against Robert Burton,
esquire, and others, respondents. Case to be held at the Bar
of the House of Lords on 5 April 1749. Relates to the
failure of a bank in which Falkiner became a partner in
November 1725. The bank had been founded by Benjamin Burton
and Francis Harrison from 1700. Harrison died in 1725.

of 31 years at annual rent of £9.10.0 sterling. It is noted
that this deed was registered at the Register Office, city
of Dublin, on 15 May 1750 in book 141, page 158, page 94808.
Noted on verso is surrender (27 March 1752) from Egan to
Burton. It is noted that a memorial of the surrender was
entered at the Register Office on 28 March 1752 in book 151,
page 537, number 102461.

Limerick, and Nicholas Weldon, Gravelmount, county Meath,
esquire, of the second part, and Andrew Missett, Corbally,
county Kildare, of the third part. By bond dated 26
September 1749, White and Weldon became bound to Luttrell in
the sum of £500 for the payment of £250 with interest
thereon. Now, in consideration of sum of £250 Luttrell
assigns the bond and judgements to Missett. It is noted that
a memorial of the assignment of the judgements was entered
at the Prothonotary's Office, Court of King's Bench in
Ireland, on 24 December 1750, number 120.

Drogheda. In consideration of sum of £425 sterling, Burton

buildings situated on the south side of Henry street in the
lordship of St Mary's Abbey, city of Dublin. Bounded on the
north by Henry street, on the south by Prince's street, on
the east by a lot of ground demised by John Maxwell,
esquire, to Burton, and on the west by a lot of ground
demised by Maxwell to Ann Henry. To be held for lives with
covenant for renewal. Annual rent of £65 sterling. Appended
is renewal of aforementioned lease (13 May 1766) made
between Sir Charles Burton, of one part, and the Honourable
Major General Marcus Smith, of the other part.

Description
Assignment made between Andrew Missett, Corbally, county
Kildare, gentleman, of one part, and Michael Nowlan, city of
Dublin, gentleman, of the other part. Recites that by a bond
dated 26 September 1749, John White, Rathgoan, county
Limerick, and Nicholas Weldon, Gravelmount, county Meath,
esquires, became bound to Thomas Luttrell, city of Dublin,
merchant, in the sum of £500 conditioned for payment of £250
with interest. Also recites deed of assignment dated 24
December 1750 made between Luttrell, of the first part,
White and Weldon, of the second part, and Missett, of the
third part, whereby in consideration of £250, Luttrell
assigned the bond and judgements to Missett. The sum of £250
is now due on foot of the judgements. Missett now assigns
the bond and judgements to Nowlan in consideration of sum of
£250 paid to him. It is noted that a memorial of the
assignment was entered in the Prothonotary's Office of the
Court of King's Bench in Ireland on 5 June 1753, number 73.
